Brushing has been inculcated in almost all kids by parents and they grow up to instinctively brush as soon as they get up. Jessica Simpson created a mini uproar when she confessed to not brushing her teeth daily. Jessica Simpson- the popular American singer and actress confessed her brushing habits to IHeartRadio.
“I don’t brush my teeth,” said Jessica in the interview. “No, really! I just use Listerine — and sometimes I’ll use my sweater.”
This revelation has been treated with shock and disgust by many. Kids look up to celebrities for inspiration and she does not set a good example, at least when it comes to oral hygiene.There was a video posted on you tube of Jessica Simpson’s interview which generated a lot of buzz.
The SaneDentist team recommends never trying or following something of this sort. Brushing your teeth is a much needed activity for dental care. No other activity can substitute for brushing. Using mouthwashes or other similar agents can work temporarily but are not effective in protecting the teeth against the ill effects of not brushing.

who cares? it’s her mouth. she can do what she wants with it. i don’t brush my teeth twice a day every day and there are often times when i don’t get a chance to brush them at all. big deal. move on.
At times it can be a significant deal, you realize this only after a day at field.

She said she does not brush them everyday not that she does not brush her teeth people need the facts better but her excuse for not brushing were just dumb b/c they got too slipery when she brushed too much lol but what ever it’s her teeth and for the women saying she is a bad role model bc she does not brush her teeth well u r about as dumb as she is make your kids brush their teeth that’s all. I must admit that I have some messed up teeth. I am too lazy to go to dentist so I ended up with teeth that getting worse day by day.
